We stayed at Claremont Motel and Apartments for a weekend away with our dog. The setting was quiet and perfectly located for dog walks into town or just around the neighborhood. The grass area outside our room was ideal for a glass of wine whilst we threw the ball for the dog. The room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. We will definitely stay at Claremont again. I have stayed at the Claremont Motel and Apartments several times over the last few years. The apartments are spacious, well set out and clean, they are equipped with everything you need and have private areas for outdoor entertaining. Plenty of parking available on site. I find both Deb and Carson excellent hosts and happy to assist with any requirements we have. The addition of the taxi service they provide has been well used by us and is a great asset to their business. I look forward to our next holiday at the Claremont. Michelle

The Claremont is our go-to in Martinborough! We've stayed in all three of the room types and each of them catered perfectly to our needs! The spaces, bedding, towels and amenities are always beautifully clean. All the staff are super accommodating and friendly! When it comes to our kids and our biking needs - there's ample space for our entire families' bikes and loads of board games and movies to keep the kids busy! Great, clean BBQ facilities, situated in a well kept garden setting - perfect for unwinding! The Claremont is just close enough to town and all the wineries to get you there without much effort (not to mention Claremont Cabs right there if you need it!), yet just far enough from the center so you feel like you've completely got away from it all!

The Claremont provided a peaceful retreat with a well appointed unit. We were so impressed with the standard of cleanliness and quality towels, bed linen and kitchen facilities. The beds and couch were extremely comfortable. The shower was great and it was the first time a walk in shower didn't mean a wet floor outside of the shower area as the shower curtain was the right length and weighted at the bottom so it kept the water inside the shower area! We were also impressed with the space inside the unit and the privacy that had been considered between the units with use of partitions and scrubs. We thought the grounds were very well maintained and we enjoyed a lovely green leafy view from our patio area. A most enjoyable stay, we will definitely be back.

We stayed at Claremont back in April 2021 two- three days and we are again booked to stay for two days in January 2022 as we traverse the Kawakawa Station walk- tramp. The setting of Claremont is just lovely- private- very relaxing- lots of space. As for the apartments themselves the word that springs to my mind is “sexy”- again really well thought out design wise-spotlessly clean- practical use of space and novel in that each apartment is named after the various brands of wine. Deborah and Carson are warm and welcoming but once settled in- they just leave you alone to kick back and enjoy. I would recommend Claremont to would be travellers to the Martinborough region- I won’t say wine country as coming from Hawke’s Bay we selfishly keep that tag line to ourselves!!!

"Took a spur of the moment trip and stayed two nights. Lovely and spacious complex with on site parking. Unit was lovely and spacious for the two of us with good amenities. Good sized fridge, tv, couch and a super comfy bed and great air conditioning (it was so hot when we went). Lovely and close to the main town centre and is in a lovely quiet setting. We both hired bicycles from the site and had a great day traveling around the awesome vineyards. Happily recommend to anyone as it’s great value for the price and we will happily stay there again next time we go to Martinborough."

The Claremont was the perfect place for our large group to call home. They were so accommodating & helpful when we changed our plans often and their communication was outstanding. Majority of us stayed in the 2br apartments and they were perfect for us. It was so nice the kitchen with all of the kitchen accessories you would need and it was so nice to relax in the lounge with the gas fire. Thank you again to Clem, Deb & the team - you made our time in Martinborough a breeze!

We did a random road trip to Martinborough recently. What a pleasant surprise to drive beyond the square and discover this hidden gem. A comfortable studio with nice decor, hosted by a lovely, friendly couple Carson & Deb - who also offer a local, one way $5 cab service. This made it easier for us to return to the square for dinner. Thank you Carson & Deb for a lovely stay.

We would like to thank you Carson and Deb for the awesome accommodation that we had over the weekend, this is our second time we have stayed at the Claremont and we just love it, very friendly, helpful, and most accommodating staff, nothing is a problem.
